Police arrested Actress Rakul Preet’s brother Amanpreet Singh in connection to a drug racket unearthed in Telangana. Nigerian nationals were running the racket.
The police have arrested five peddlers of network including two foreign nationals. Culprits were caught following the strong monitoring at an Airport.
The network came to the light after increased surveillance at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau. The Bureau increased its scrutiny in order to tab on the old drug offender and absconding accused.

Additionally, police have seized 199 grams of cocaine. “We seized 199 grams of cocaine worth ₹ 35 lakh, two passports, two bikes, 10 cell phones and other incriminating material from their possession,” said the Telangana police after raid on a flat in Hydershakotla in Narsingi.
Rakul preet’s brother is among the 13 customers involved in the drug racket.
Of the 13 customers, three were arrested and tested positive for cocaine. Among the customers include Kishan Rathi, Aniketh, Yashwanth, Rohith, Sri Charan, Prasad, Hemanth, Nikhil, Madhu, Raghu, Krishnam Raju and Venkat, all businessmen from Hyderabad.
“It is an ardent request from Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police,” the Telangana police said in a statement.
Last year, Rakul Preet Singh was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case. The 33-year-old actor’s statement was recorded by the probe agency in this connection in 2022 and 2021 as well.
