Acharya Pramod Applauds Bharat Express As Rekha Gupta Opens Urdu Conclave In Delhi

Acharya Pramod, resharing an official post by Bharat Express, lauded the media platform for its significant contribution to Urdu journalism and cultural discourse. His message, poetically describing Bharat Express as a ‘Kadamb tree in the desert of journalism’, drew attention to the broadcaster’s expanding influence.

The Bazm-e-Sahafat Urdu Conclave, organised under the banner of Bharat Express, witnessed an enthusiastic reception for Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The event took place at the Urdu Academy in Delhi, attracting prominent figures from the political and media fraternity.

Rekha Gupta formally inaugurated the programme with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. This marked the beginning of an evening dedicated to dialogue, literature and linguistic heritage.

The inaugural session saw the presence of senior Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra. It also featured Bharat Express Chairman and Managing Director Upendrra Rai. Their participation underscored the organisation’s commitment to promoting languages that symbolise India’s cultural depth and secular ethos.

The dignitaries expressed appreciation for the platform created by Bharat Express to highlight Urdu’s role in India’s literary and cultural landscape. The conclave also celebrated the values of harmony, artistic expression and journalistic integrity.

Acharya Pramod Praises Bharat Express

In his tweet, Acharya Pramod described Bharat Express as a flourishing tree in the vast expanse of journalism, symbolising strength, stability and growth. His remark, “Sahaafat ke ‘sahra’ mein ‘Kadamb’ ka vriksh hai Bharat Express”, served as an endorsement of the channel’s expanding credibility.

His reshare helped amplify the significance of the conclave. It also highlighted the broadcaster’s efforts to create meaningful conversations around the Urdu language and culture.

The Bazm-e-Sahafat programme highlighted the beauty of Urdu script, poetry, and journalistic tradition. Over the course of the evening, speakers emphasised the need to preserve linguistic diversity. They also stressed the importance of promoting cultural dialogue at a time when regional languages face increasing homogenisation.

The conclave concluded with a renewed call to embrace Urdu as a language of inclusivity and elegance. It also highlighted Urdu as a shared heritage whose values resonate deeply with India’s pluralistic identity.
