Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the state’s 25th Foundation Day, praising its remarkable transformation from conflict-affected regions to one of India’s most dynamic growth centres.
In a series of posts on his social media handle, the Prime Minister conveyed his good wishes.
Taking to X, he posted, “Heartiest greetings to all my brothers and sisters of Chhattisgarh on the 25th anniversary of the state’s foundation day. This state, dedicated to nature and culture, continues to set new benchmarks of progress. Many areas here, once affected by Naxalism, are now competing in development. I am confident that with the dedication and enterprise of the hardworking and skilled people here, our state will play a pivotal role in realising the vision of a developed India.”
Arriving in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar on Saturday for a full day of engagements, the Prime Minister began his schedule at 10 AM, attending multiple inaugurations and foundation stone ceremonies marking the silver jubilee celebrations.
Earlier, sharing details of his itinerary on X, he posted, “Chhattisgarh, enriched with tribal culture and natural wealth, is completing 25 years of its development journey tomorrow, on November 1. On this occasion, I will participate in several different programs starting around 10 AM in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.”
“Around 2:30 PM, I will be part of the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, where I will have the opportunity to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects related to the road, industry, health, and energy sectors,” the post further added.
Among the key projects are the 56-km six-lane NH-130D highway, 400 kV power substations, and the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, honouring the state’s earliest tribal revolutionary.
The Prime Minister also expressed his pride in inaugurating Chhattisgarh’s new Legislative Assembly building and unveiling a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whom he credited for creating the state in 2000.
“There is also a program for the inauguration of the Brahmakumaris’ Peace Summit,” he wrote, referring to the Brahma Kumaris’ Shanti Shikhar Academy for Peaceful World, a new spiritual and environmental centre in Nava Raipur.
In a particularly heartwarming moment, the Prime Minister met around 2,500 children who have recovered from congenital heart defects under the Dil Ki Baat initiative at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital.
“During this visit to the state, I will also meet around two and a half thousand children who have been freed from congenital heart disease,” he shared in a morning post, highlighting the progress made in healthcare for children across the state.
Concluding his messages, the Prime Minister voiced confidence in Chhattisgarh’s continuing rise.
“I am confident that through the dedication and enterprise of its hardworking and skilled people, our state will play a key role in realising the vision of a developed India,” he asserted.

The visit underscored a defining milestone in Chhattisgarh’s 25-year journey, where infrastructure, tribal empowerment, and cultural heritage converge as part of the state’s march towards Viksit Bharat.
