20th Rozgar Mela: New Appointees Celebrate Government Jobs And Thank PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth at the 20th Rozgar Mela on Saturday. The nationwide programme covered 45 locations.

New appointees in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Pune shared their excitement with IANS. Several candidates thanked their families, the government and the Prime Minister for the opportunity.

In Ahmedabad, newly selected Income Tax Department recruits described the appointment as a proud moment. One candidate thanked his parents, God, the Prime Minister and officials involved in the process.

Another recruit said the time-bound recruitment process marked an important milestone for young people and their careers. A third candidate said his hard work had finally brought success and happiness to his family.

In Bengaluru, candidates spoke about years of patience and preparation. One recruit said government employees had a responsibility to serve the nation and fulfil public aspirations. Another thanked everyone who supported his journey.

A recruit linked the opportunity to the Prime Minister’s vision for 2047. Another Income Tax appointee described the post as both a relief and a responsibility. He said public money demands careful and responsible use.

In Pune, DRDO recruits celebrated their selection as Scientist B. One candidate thanked his family and the Prime Minister. Another thanked the Government of India for the opportunity.

The new recruits will join departments including Revenue, Railways, Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Financial Services and Defence.
