According to an official, the accused has been taken into custody by the police, and efforts are underway to capture his mother, who was a co-conspirator in the crime.
On the evening of December 21, in a village under the jurisdiction of Pendra police station, the girl was allegedly abducted by the 27-year-old accused, who had offered to drop her off at home.
The accused took the girl to a nearby forest on his motorcycle and then took her to his house, where he allegedly raped her for the next two days, he said.
According to the official, the girl was beaten by the accused and his mother and rendered unconscious by a pond on the outskirts of the village.
