Cardi B was recently spotted hurling her microphone at a concertgoer who threw their drink at the rapper onstage in a video that quickly went viral online.
With her performance, the “I Like It” singer was seen igniting the stage. The performer was startled a little while later when a fan tossed their drink at her as she was performing. The performer could be seen hurling her microphone at the fan in the now-viral footage.
The singer appeared to be yelling at them and was extremely furious. As they worked to calm the singer, her crew hurriedly removed the visitor from the audience. The rapper’s account reposted the footage shortly after the event.
The internet is praising Cardi B for what she did. A user who left a comment on the video said, “She deserved it; she shouldn’t have done that.”
“She completed the necessary tasks! Fans have been hurling objects at performers, which needs to stop. Another person chimed in, Finally, a celebrity is fighting back.”
“People should refrain from hurling objects at artists. The fourth wrote, “It’s actually gotten out of hand, like they aren’t even people in your eyes.
“I don’t blame Cardi B for these concerts now, like they used to be. These concert goers have no respect for anyone, especially the artist throwing stuff at them, so good for Cardi for doing that. If you treat me with disrespect, you get disrespected back, period,” the fifth user added.
It has happened before that performers have been hit by things thrown at them. Harry Styles, a singer, recently sustained an eye injury while playing in Vienna after something was hurled at the stage.
