Update On Nitin Desai Death: Reports Confirm Cause Of Death To Be ‘Hanging’; Know Another Key Development Inside

Nitin Desai Death Case: Wednesday left the Bollywood industry in shock when renowned Art Director Chandrakant Desai was found dead. His body was lying at his studio in Khalapur. Although it appeared to be a suicide at first glance, the police have now confirmed the cause of death. Reports suggest that a team of four physicians performed the postmortem. the Raigad police confirmed this in a statement, saying, “A team of four doctors performed the postmortem on art director Nitin Desai. As per preliminary findings, the cause of death is due to hanging. Further investigation is underway.”

Clues to be investigated in Nitin Desai death case

Earlier, an insider from his studio told that Desai had left an audio tape behind. As per the source,  “It was planned properly by ND. Last night (Tuesday) he took all the keys from the security and told his boy to leave him alone at the Studio as he has some important work to be done. ND came to see him off at the gate and asked him to come next morning around 8:30 am. He also asked him to see the recording which he said he will find in Studio no 10.”

“At night, on the sets of Marathi Pavool Padte Pudhe, Studio number 10, he drew a bow and arrow with sutali (rassi), he placed a ladder on the bow and arrow, and hung himself,” the source further informs.

Mr. Desai’s last wishes

Desai also asked that ND Studios not be taken away from him during the recording. He also requested that his funeral services be held in Studio No. 10.

Projects by Desai include Lagaan and Devdas. On the outskirts of the financial district, in the Khalapur taluka, he had established this sizable studio where films like Jodha Akbar were produced. His business, ND’s Art World, organises, maintains, runs historical monument reproductions, and offers amenities and services for hotels, theme eateries, shopping complexes, and recreation facilities.
