They Saved Lives Without Recognition: Kangana Ranaut’s Film Honors The Forgotten Heroes Of 26/11

The makers of ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’, starring Kangana Ranaut, unveiled a powerful motion poster titled ‘The Unseen Heroes’ on Thursday.

The emotionally charged visual tribute honours ordinary individuals who demonstrated exceptional courage during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks despite remaining largely unrecognised.

The motion poster salutes nurses, ward boys, cleaners, lift operators, security personnel, and administrators who risked their lives while protecting others during the tragic attacks.

The film seeks to spotlight the silent bravery of civilians who stood resilient amid chaos and devastation.

Speaking about the project, Kangana described the film as a tribute to invisible heroes who emerge as protectors of humanity during moments of crisis. She emphasised that true courage does not depend on medals, uniforms, or official recognition.

According to the actress, the story celebrates ordinary individuals who sacrificed everything without expecting acknowledgement.

Kangana further stated that every frame of the motion poster compels audiences to recognise the pain, sacrifice, and fearlessness of those overlooked heroes. She expressed immense pride in contributing to a film carrying their truth to the world.

Writer-director Manoj Tapadia explained that the creative team intentionally focused on portraying the ‘silence of bravery’ rather than merely depicting violence and destruction. He noted that the narrative captures the precise moment when ordinary civilians suppress fear and choose to shield others from danger.

The ensemble cast includes Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan in pivotal roles.

Produced by Pen Studios, Manikarnika Films, Paramhans Creations, Eunoia Films LLP, and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film will release theatrically on June 12.
