Sunny Deol Can Join Ramayana Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, All Deatails Here

Recently, Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar announced their collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash to bring the epic Ramayana to the big screen. We also stated that Yash is anticipated to begin filming in the month of July 2024, following the start of principal photography in around February 2024 with Ranbir and Sai. Yash has joined the cast to play Raavan in this epic, while RK and Sai take on the roles of Lord Ram and Sita. And now, we can exclusively reveal that Nitesh Tiwari hopes to pull off one of Indian cinema’s biggest casting coups.

Early Ramayana negotiations with Sunny Deol are being started by Nitesh Tiwari and his team

Nitesh Tiwari and his crew are reportedly in talks with Sunny Deol to portray the role of Lord Hanuman in the Ramayana, according to sources familiar with the development. “Sunny Deol is the best actor in the Indian film industry to support what Bajrangbali stands for because Hanuman represents strength,” Sunny Deol said. The actor has expressed interest in taking part in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the Ramayana and is eager to portray Lord Hanuman. However, the dialogue is still in its early stages, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The source also said that the conversations have been going well so far.

In addition to the Ramayana trilogy, Sunny Deol will star in a stand-alone movie on Lord Hanuman that Nitesh Tiwari is working on with his fellow producers Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena, and Namit Malhotra. There are numerous additional aspects to the tale; the Ramayana is but a small portion of Lord Hanuman’s existence. With a stand-alone movie about Lord Hanuman, Nitesh wants to investigate that, the insider continued.

The Ramayana team intends to also produce a Hanuman standalone movie

Sunny Deol is really interested in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play Lord Hanuman because of the larger aim to establish a universe of Ramayana heroes. “Everything needs to fall into place, from the shoot date to the commitment for the franchise spin-offs and the financial structure,” the insider said. Speaking of the Ramayana Trilogy, the movies will be filmed over a two-year period beginning in February 2024 and will have scheduled theatrical releases. It’s interesting to note that Dara Singh immortalized the character of Hanuman for the public back then.
