Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up to marry her rumored boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal later this month. While Sonakshi has previously stated that their relationship is private and its no bodies business, more details about their supposed wedding are emerging.
According to reports, the couple will have a registered marriage on June 23, followed by a celebratory party. Sources close to them confirmed that the wedding rumors are indeed true.
A source reported, that the celebration will be on the evening of June 23. However, there’s no mention of an actual wedding ceremony. As far is this is known, they have already completed a registered marriage or are planning to do so on the morning of June 23. There won’t be a grand wedding affair, but just a close party.
Another source mentioned that several prominent names from the film industry, including Ayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and Varun Sharma, will attend the wedding party. The report stated, “In addition to the Sinha’s, many close friends and colleagues of Sonakshi and Zaheer will grace the event.”
The guest list reportedly includes Sonakshi’s Heeramandi co-stars Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hyderi, Sharmin Segal, and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Sources also revealed that the celebrations will take place at Bastian, a popular eatery in South Mumbai, with a pre-event on June 22 at their family residence in Juhu. This event is exclusively for close friends and family.
Responding to the news, Sonakshi’s father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, expressed surprise, saying, “I have no information about the wedding. I only know what the media knows. These days, children don’t seek their parents’ consent, they just inform us. We are waiting to be informed.”
Reports suggest that Sonakshi and Zaheer have been in a relationship for quite some time. They reportedly met at a party hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan and subsequently co-starred in the 2022 film Double XL. While they have never publicly confirmed their relationship, their Instagram accounts feature numerous photos of each other, and they often appear together at social gatherings.
