Smriti Irani’s Hilarious Take on Diet Advice: ‘Two Types of Diet Tips’ from Jackie Shroff and JD Majethia

Smriti Irani recently took a humorous approach to diet conversations, sharing her encounters with Jackie Shroff and JD Majethia at an award show. In an Instagram post featuring snapshots with both celebrities, Smriti cleverly captioned, ‘DIET ki salah ke do prakaar – mehnat bahut but no chamatkar’ (Two types of diet advice – lots of hard work but no miracles).

According to Smriti, Jackie Shroff’s advice was straightforward, ‘Bidu wazan kam kar… fit reh fat mat ho re. Anda kha baingan kha bread mat kha re’ (Friend, reduce your weight… be fit, not fat. Eat eggs, eat brinjal but don’t eat bread). On the other hand, JD Majethia, known for his role as ‘Himanshu’ in the popular series ‘Khichdi,’ offered a sly suggestion, ‘Ben wazan kam kar… diet kar kissi ko pata nahi chalega’ (Sister, reduce your weight… go on a diet and no one will come to know).

The post has garnered laughs in the comment section, with Instagram users praising Smriti’s sense of humor and witty caption. This lighthearted take on diet advice follows Smriti Irani’s previous Instagram story, where her love for malpua with rabri took center stage amid efforts to stay healthy. The story humorously suggested a ‘conspiracy to keep me fat’ when served malpua after a meal of sautéed broccoli.
