After completing the much-anticipated film Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Salman Khan shed his iconic beard, which he had grown specifically for his character in the film.
A source close to the production shared details about the final day of shooting.
“The shoot wrapped up around 8:30 PM in Bandra with a patch-work sequence between Salman and Rashmika,” the source revealed.
“Right after the shoot, Salman cleaned his beard, which he had been maintaining for his look in Sikandar. In real life, Salman always prefers a clean-shaven look.”
The shooting for Sikandar has officially concluded, marking the end of a long production phase. Salman Khan recently wrapped up the final phase of filming in Mumbai, where he worked alongside co-star Rashmika, director AR Murugadoss, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
A memorable moment from the day was when Salman Khan shaved off his beard for the first time since starting the shoot. His fresh new look immediately went viral on social media, with fans sharing images of the superstar’s transformation.

While the main portion of the shooting concluded in January, Salman, Rashmika, and the rest of the team returned in February and March to film some patch-up scenes and a promotional song.
“The edit is locked, and work is progressing on color grading, VFX, and background music,” the insider explained.
“The final prints of Sikandar will be completed in the next five days, marking the start of the countdown for the theatrical release.”
Sikandar was filmed over 90 days across various locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and other parts of India.
Sources say the film has been crafted for the big screen, featuring AR Murugadoss’ signature style of storytelling, which combines romance, politics, drama, and revenge with high-octane action sequences.
The film further marks Salman Khan’s first on-screen collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
Sikandar also reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, with whom he previously collaborated on the 2014 blockbuster Kick.
The movie is slated for release during Eid 2025, and fans are eagerly anticipating the action-packed drama.
Further with its thrilling storyline and star-studded cast, Sikandar is poised to be one of the biggest films of 2025.
