Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, host of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 19’, delivered a stern reality check to contestant Amaal Mallik during the upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode.
In a promo released on Instagram, Salman is heard questioning Amaal, asking, “What are you doing here? Are you here to sleep?”
When Amaal responded negatively, the host emphasised that his actions in the house were damaging his public image.
“You are here to show us the real Amaal Mallik. Did you do that? The image you had outside is getting worse. Expectations were high. Amaal will create a storm in this house,” Salman said, adding that the music composer had gone from being a ‘front foot man’ to a ‘background artist’, calling the situation ‘shocking’.
Bigg Boss 19 features a mix of celebrities and newcomers, including Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Mridul Tiwari, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, and Neelam Giri. The show streams on JioHotstar and Colors TV.
In the previous episode, Amaal opened up about his family’s strained relationship with music composer and singer Anu Malik.
Speaking with fellow contestants Zeishan Quadri and Baseer Ali, he revealed that Anu Malik’s success once created tension, affecting Daboo Malik’s family emotionally. Public gatherings often saw the families avoiding each other.
Amaal described Anu Malik as a ‘hungry lion’. He noted that, although relations between the elder family members have improved, the younger generation, including Anu Malik’s children, remains distant from him and the rest of the family.
Fans will actively discuss Amaal’s behaviour in the house. They will also talk about his candid family revelations, making this episode one of the season’s most talked-about segments.
