Ranbir Kapoor Says ‘Ramayana’ Releasing On Raha’s Birthday Is A Special Twist Of Fate

Ranbir Kapoor recently connected with fans through a live ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram.

The interaction was conducted via the official page of his lifestyle label, ARKS, as part of its anniversary celebrations. Despite not having a personal social media account, the actor answered questions and shared insights through the brand’s handle.

During the session, a follower mentioned that Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Part 1 is slated for release in November, which happens to be his daughter Raha’s birthday month.

Reacting to the detail, Ranbir remarked that the overlap felt like a special and heart-warming coincidence. The much-anticipated epic is expected to arrive in cinemas around Diwali 2026.

Speaking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir hinted at a revised release window.

The film was earlier expected to release in theatres in August 2026. It may now arrive later in the year or even be postponed to 2027.

He explained that large-scale cinematic ventures such as Ramayana and Love & War require extensive time and effort owing to their ambitious scope. Nevertheless, he assured fans that the additional wait would be worthwhile.

Progress on Upcoming Sequels

Ranbir further revealed that work on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra 2 is moving ahead, with plans to begin filming earlier than initially expected. In addition, he confirmed that Animal Park, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is likely to commence production around the middle of next year.

The actor also took a moment to commend Ranveer Singh’s latest hit, Dhurandhar.

He praised the film and congratulated the entire team, describing it as an enjoyable and memorable theatrical experience.

With multiple high-profile projects in development, Ranbir Kapoor’s slate promises an exciting phase in his film career.
