The trailer for the much-anticipated romantic-comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring RajKummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, dropped on Thursday, offering fans a quirky and chaotic glimpse into a wedding that’s anything but ordinary.
RajKummar Rao, sharing the trailer on social media, added a fun caption: “Titli hai Ranjan ka pyaar; par haldi par atka hai uska sansaar. Toh dekhne zaroor aaiyega inki kahaani with parivaar. Get ready for a bhasad wali shaadi where everything goes wrong…”
Fans have quickly reacted to the trailer, expressing excitement over the fresh pairing and the film’s unique take on romantic comedies.
The trailer introduces RajKummar Rao as Ranjan, a romantic set on marrying Titli, played by Wamiqa Gabbi.
Their sweet love story takes a sci-fi turn when they get stuck in a time loop, reliving their Haldi ceremony repeatedly.
The trailer opens with a police officer advising the couple to tie the knot before eloping once more.
But before that, Ranjan must prove his worth by securing a government job within two months to win over Titli’s family.
Just as things begin to fall into place, a wild twist traps the pair in a bizarre cycle, turning their wedding preparations into a hilariously repetitive and increasingly chaotic ordeal.
Karan Sharma directs and writes Bhool Chuk Maaf, marking the first on-screen collaboration between RajKummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi.
Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is producing the film in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
Blending humor, love, and a sci-fi twist, the movie will hit theaters on May 9, 2025.
