Global star Priyanka Chopra made a striking impression at the 2025 MET Gala, embracing old-school Hollywood elegance with a bold modern twist.
Dressed by renowned designer Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Chopra turned heads on the red carpet at fashion’s most anticipated night.
Chopra’s ensemble paid homage to the gala’s theme, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, with a refined and theatrical look.
She wore a white halter-neck gown adorned with black polka dots, cinched at the waist with a sleek black belt.
Black buttons down the centre and a dramatic, wide-brimmed hat added a strong retro flair, while an emerald green neckpiece introduced a pop of bold colour to the monochrome palette.
In true modern fashion, Chopra offered fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram before stepping onto the iconic Met steps.
She posted a video of herself getting ready, teasing a new beauty product with the caption: “Sneak peek of a new @maxfactor product for the perfect glow #MetGala.”
She later shared her full look with the simple caption: MET 2025.
Priyanka was accompanied by her husband, singer and actor Nick Jonas, who chose a chic yet understated ensemble.

He wore black trousers paired with an off-white shirt, styled with a knotted scarf at the neck — a subtle nod to classic tailoring, echoing the evening’s theme.
The couple, long-time favourites at the MET Gala, first appeared together at the event in 2017, even before their romantic relationship began.
Their presence has since become a regular feature at the annual fundraiser, which supports the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan.
This year’s gala was co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and the ever-iconic Anna Wintour.
Athletes such as Simone Biles and Angel Reese, alongside musicians like Doechii and Usher, formed part of the diverse and influential host committee.
Widely known as ‘fashion’s biggest night’, the MET Gala continues to merge haute couture with cultural storytelling, offering celebrities the chance to create impactful fashion statements.
As always, the event transcended clothing, transforming the red carpet into a canvas for personal and artistic expression.
