Nora Fatehi Celebrates Morocco’s FIFA World Cup Knockout Qualification

Nora Fatehi celebrated Morocco’s qualification for the FIFA World Cup knockout stage after the team produced an exciting 4-2 comeback victory over Haiti.

Posting pictures from the match on Instagram, the actor admitted the contest was so tense that it nearly gave her a heart attack. She congratulated the Atlas Lions on progressing to the Round of 32 and praised the team’s determination in overcoming a spirited challenge from Haiti.

Morocco secured second place in Group C after defeating Haiti in a thrilling encounter at Atlanta Stadium.

Haiti stunned their opponents by taking the lead twice, but Morocco responded on both occasions before pulling away late in the match to seal qualification.

The runners-up finish sends Morocco into the Round of 32, where they will face the winners of Group F, with the Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden still battling for top spot.

Although Haiti bowed out of the competition, the side earned admiration for its spirited performances during its first World Cup appearance in more than 50 years.

Alongside celebrating Morocco’s success, Nora recently introduced her latest track, ‘Ya Baba’, which draws inspiration from the traditional Tunisian folk song ‘Sidi Mansour’. She described the release as a nostalgic journey, explaining that the original tune was a familiar part of weddings and family celebrations throughout her childhood.

Speaking in a promotional video, Nora said she recorded the song with singer Shilpa Rao, while producer Sunjoy created the music. She added that reviving a melody with such deep cultural roots made the project especially meaningful for her.
