MEGA MITHI RIVER CLEAN
Multiple non-profit organizations have actively participated in multiple eco-friendly projects with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in a continuing attempt to protect the environment. Recently, the BMC and the Bhamla Foundation collaborated to organize an event with the goal of cleaning the Mithi River’s banks. Popular actors, including Sophie Choudry, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Esha Deol, and Karishma Tanna, took part in the cleanup effort. The Sanju actress was one of them, and she not only helped clean the beach but also seized the chance to convey how important cleanliness is and offer helpful suggestions to deter littering.
Tanna received a lot of love and support from her fans and followers after the motivational video was posted on Instagram by a paparazzi page. They also praised her for her active participation in the cause. Tell people not to litter as much, as Tanna can be heard saying in the video. “Logon ko bataao, itna kachra naa kare.”
Additionally, the event’s organizers posted a video of the actresses kicking off the Mega Mithi River Clean-a-thon online with the caption, “No rain, no storm can stop us when we stand against waste pollution.
On World Cleaning Day, we participated in the largest clean ever to clean the Mithi. With the help of over 2000 eco-champions, we aggressively cleaned up the Mithi over the course of 450 weeks.
