Manoj Bajpayee: Actor Manoj Bajpayee’s mother Geeta Devi passed away on 8th December 2022. The ‘Special 26’ actor’s mother was suffering from age- related illness.
The news of her death was confirmed by Manoj Bajpayee’s Spokesperson as reported by ANI. According to the spokesperson, she passed away in Delhi’s Max Pushpanjali Hospital.
Manoj’s mother was being treated at the hospital for the last 20 days for age related illness and on Thursday morning she passed away. Geeta Devi was showing signs of improvement but her health deteriorated and within hours she passed away. Manoj was with Geeta Devi in Delhi in her final hours when she passed away.
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit tweeted “Manoj Bajayepi Our heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family on the sad demise of your respected mother. Om Shanti!”
The ‘Satya’ actor’s fans were very supportive of the actor at this time and paid their condolences on social media after the news came out.
The messages sent by the fans were truly heartfelt. One user tweeted online “Stay strong Manoj sir”.
Another user wrote “May her soul rest in peace.Sending you strength sir”.
Manoj Vajpayee lost his father, R.K.Bajpayee died at the age of 83 last year in October in Delhi. Geeta Devi is survived by her two sons apart from Manoj Vajpayee and two daughter

The actor who has worked across Hindi, Telugu and Tamil cinema has won the National Award three times.In 2019, he was also awarded the Padma Shri.
He has worked in landmark critically acclaimed films like Satya, Aligarh, Gangs of Wasseypur, Pinjar, Special 26, Zubeidaa among others.
Manoj Bajpayee has also created waves in the OTT platforms with web-series like Dial 100,The Family Man season 2, Ray,Silence… Can You Hear It? Among others.
He has also featured in two music videos ‘Bambai Main Ka Ba’ where he is also the singer in 2020. In 2022 he featured in another music video ‘Kudi Meri’.
Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming films in 2023 include Kanu Bahl’s Despatch, Mila Zaveri’s Raakh.
