Former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Malti Chahar addressed widespread speculation regarding her alleged association with music composer Amaal Mallik.
Describing the claims as fabricated, she urged people to stop linking her name to the composer without a basis.
Using social media platform X, Malti shared a detailed statement to clarify her position and put an end to the ongoing chatter.
“Let’s clear this once and for all. Amaal and I had no relationship or any kind of “ship.” He asked for my number, and we met only once. We talked and shared some personal information. After that, we were in touch over the phone. That’s it! there was nothing else between us,” Malti posted.
Addressing a moment from Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, Malti explained the meaning behind her remark, ‘bahar ki baat nahi karenge (We won’t talk about things from outside in the house)’. She clarified that the statement simply reflected her intention not to reveal someone else’s personal matters on a public platform.
She further stated that her words were taken out of context and later used to shape an incorrect narrative during the show.
After exiting the Bigg Boss house, Malti became aware of remarks made about her on the show, which she described as disrespectful. She expressed disappointment over suggestions that she was trying to impress Amaal Mallik.
Additionally, she criticised the derogatory tone of the comments, stating that such portrayals were unfair and hurtful.
“It was disrespectful of Amaal to create a narrative on the show suggesting that I was trying to impress him and to make derogatory remarks about me, something I saw only after coming out of the BB house,” she wrote.
However, she admitted that her compassion was later misconstrued, leading her to regret being drawn into the situation.
“Yes, he mentioned his mental health a few times, both before and during the show. I was empathetic and tried to help in the moment so he wouldn’t have more regrets later. Now, I’m the one regretting it. That’s all. Spare me now. Please don’t associate my name with his. Thanks,” Malti Chahar concluded.
With this clarification, Malti Chahar has sought to decisively close the matter and move forward without further controversy.
