KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty visit Mahakaleshwar
The newlywed star couple, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have always been in the headlines since their marriage. The couple visited Mahakaleshwar to seek the blessing of the deity and also performed aarti on Sunday morning. They also offered water (Jal) to Baba Mahakal in the sanctum sanctorum.
During the visit, KL Rahul with his wife Athiya also took darshan of the grand aarti at the temple while chanting ‘Om Namah Shivay’ for almost 2 hours in the Nandi hall.
According to Ashish pujari of the temple, Indian cricketer KL Rahul, daughter of the veteran film star Sunil Shetty, Athiya has arrived at the Baba Mahakal’s darbar (court) for the first time after their marriage. The priest has also wished for the welfare of the couple and especially for the Indian cricket team to become the greatest team in the world.
Apart from these two VIPs, there was a crowd of devotees in the temple on Sunday. The doors of the temple were opened at 4 am during the Bhasma Aarti. After anointing Baba Mahakal with water, the priests worshipped him with Panchamrit made of milk, curd, ghee, sugar and juice of fresh fruits.
Baba Mahakal was decorated as a king on Sunday. He was decorated with dry fruits, Tripund and ornaments. Silver crowns of Sheshnag, Mundamal, Rudraksh’s garland and flower garland made of flowers were offered to Baba Mahakal.

Ashish Pujari of Mahakal temple explained the importance of both the temple and Ujjain. KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty came to the temple in traditional dress during the darshan of Mahakal.
Meanwhile, both of them, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty kept their distance from the media during the visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple.
Recently, Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar also came to visit Baba Mahakal. Apart from them, many politicians also keep coming here to seek the blessings of Baba Mahakal.
