Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has shared a reflective message on social media, linking unfulfilled desires with a deeper connection to faith.
In an Instagram post, the actress, known for films including ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, wrote, “Khwahish adhuri ho toh rab kitna yaad aata hai.”
The line conveys the thought that an incomplete wish can make a person remember God more strongly.
The post featured Sonam in a traditional white suit styled with green bangles and matching earrings. She kept her look understated with subtle makeup, nude lipstick and open hair as she posed for the camera.
Sonam began her acting career with ‘Best of Luck’ in 2013, appearing alongside Gippy Grewal and Jazzy B. She followed it with ‘Punjab 1984’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh in 2014 and made her Tamil film debut that year with ‘Kappal’, alongside Vaibhav Reddy.
Over the years, Sonam has appeared in several successful Punjabi films, including ‘Guddiyan Patole’, ‘Carry On Jatta 3’, ‘Nikka Zaildar’, ‘Honsla Rakh’ and ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’. She has expanded into Hindi cinema with projects such as ‘Housefull 5’ and ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’.
Sonam was last seen in Anurag Singh’s Hindi war drama ‘Border 2’, which starred Sunny Deol in the lead along with Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. Mona Singh, Medha Rana and Anya Singh joined the ensemble cast.
