Katrina Kaif refers to Merry Christmas as the “most difficult” movie of her career and labels Vijay Sethupathi “phenomenal”

Right now, Katrina Kaif is enjoying the success of Tiger 3. Maneesh Sharma, the film’s director, has not only won over fans but also received critical acclaim, making a significant profit at the box office. Many have praised Katrina’s performance, especially the action scenes. The actress recently had the privilege of going to Jeddah’s esteemed Red Sea Film Festival. The actress revealed that Merry Christmas, which is being directed by Sriram Raghavan, is the most difficult movie she has ever worked on during a conversation at the event.

Since Merry Christmas is a bilingual movie, Katrina Kaif revealed that each scene required two takes

Speaking about her next movie, Merry Christmas, Katrina Kaif said that she has always wanted to collaborate with filmmaker Sriram Raghavan. She said that this project is the most difficult one she has worked on in her career thus far. Her role required a major creative and emotional commitment, and Raghavan—who is renowned for pushing performers to reach new heights—offered a fulfilling challenge.

Tamil and Hindi were used in the multilingual film Merry Christmas. Speaking her lines in Tamil for the Tamil version, Katrina revealed, adds a level of difficulty to the filming process. The actress found the process difficult yet thrilling, as each scene required two takes, one in each language.

Katrina also conveyed her admiration for Vijay Sethupathi, her co-star in the movie. She thought he was amazing and expressed how much she enjoyed seeing him flip between the Tamil and Hindi takes with ease, demonstrating his versatility and adding to the distinct dynamics of the picture.

Regarding Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas is a joint venture between two prestigious production companies, Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. Producers Kewal Garg and Sanjay Routray are joined by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani. The film has already generated a lot of interest thanks to its eye-catching posters, which captivate viewers with their retro charm. Notably, the movie will have a cameo from Radhika Apte.
The movie was supposed to open in theaters on December 12, 2023, but the directors decided to postpone it. Now, it will open on January 12, 2024.
