Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been invited by President Droupadi Murmu to attend the prestigious ‘At Home Reception’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on August 15.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor will attend the gathering as one of the distinguished guests. The President will host the event to mark India’s 80th Independence Day.
Kartik is the only Bollywood actor invited to the event, according to the information provided.
The invitation comes shortly after Kartik won the Best Actor award at the 72nd National Film Awards. He received the honour for his performance in Kabir Khan’s sports drama Chandu Champion.
In July, the actor shared a video on social media capturing his family’s reaction as his name was announced as the Best Actor winner.
Kartik was seen celebrating with his parents, who hugged and congratulated him. His mother kissed him on the cheek while sharing the emotional moment with her son.
The President’s ‘At Home Reception’ is a formal gathering that brings together prominent personalities from various fields. These include national leaders, armed forces personnel, sportspersons, artists and notable achievers.
Kartik had expressed his gratitude after receiving the National Award, describing the achievement as the fulfilment of a long-held dream and thanking those who supported him. His invitation to the Rashtrapati Bhavan reception comes as another significant recognition following his National Award win for Chandu Champion.
