Kartik Aaryan Calls Karan Johar The ‘Ray Of Entertainment’ On His 53rd Birthday

As filmmaker Karan Johar celebrated his 53rd birthday on May 25, actor Kartik Aaryan extended warm wishes by calling him the ‘ray of entertainment’.

The message, shared via Instagram Stories, accompanied a throwback photograph from their IIFA practice session, showcasing the camaraderie and cheerful bond between the two.

The throwback image featured Kartik and Karan seated on a sofa, sharing laughter and a candid conversation.

Alongside the photo, Kartik wrote: “Happy birthday to the ray of entertainment @karanjohar. Lots of love and happiness.”

The actor also added the tune of his upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, marking his first cinematic collaboration with Karan Johar.

First Film Together: Tu Meri Main Tera

Directed by Sameer Vidwans and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, Tu Meri Main Tera is scheduled for release on 13 February 2026.

The romantic drama pairs Kartik with Ananya Panday for the second time, after their 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh.

The upcoming film is already generating buzz as a fresh project from Johar’s iconic production house, especially as it symbolises a new chapter for both the actor and the director.

Ahead of the film, Kartik recently revealed a sharp new look that left fans surprised.

On 23 May, he shared a picture featuring his trimmed beard and cropped hair, in stark contrast to his earlier rugged look for Anurag Basu’s upcoming film.

Captioned with the film’s title and hashtag #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri, the transformation added to the anticipation surrounding the project.

Apart from cinema, Karan Johar is making waves in the audio space with his new podcast Live Your Best Life with Karan Johar.

The series features candid, insightful conversations with personalities across entertainment, entrepreneurship, finance, and wellness, reflecting Johar’s evolving presence beyond filmmaking.

Additionally, soon he will host ‘The Traitors’, an Indian adaptation of the BAFTA and Emmy award-winning international format.

Set to premiere on 12 June, the show will feature 20 celebrities competing in a strategic game of loyalty and betrayal, with BBC Studios India and All3Media International producing the series.

As Kartik and Karan gear up for their first film together, their birthday exchange not only highlights mutual respect but also sets the tone for a promising collaboration.

With Karan Johar exploring new frontiers and Kartik Aaryan’s rising stardom, Bollywood fans have much to look forward to in 2026 and beyond.
