Karan Johar Is All Praise Of Ahaan Panday; Calls Himself YRF Student For Life

Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar was deeply moved after watching the film ‘Saiyaara’, unable to hold back his emotions. He lauded Ahaan Panday’s performance, who made his debut with this film, saying the young actor broke his heart while simultaneously inspiring him to push his own creative boundaries.

Johar also praised the film’s female lead, Aneet Padda, adding that her portrayal brought him to tears.

On Instagram, filmmaker Karan Johar shared his heartfelt reaction to the film ‘Saiyaara’, posting its poster along with a deeply emotional message.

Expressing his overwhelming response, he wrote, “I don’t remember the last time I felt like this after watching a film …. Tears flowing and yet the feeling of immense joy… Joy for the fact that a love story has conquered the silver screen and made the nation fall in love.”

He went on to express pride in Yash Raj Films, his alma mater, for reviving the magic of love stories in Indian cinema.

“Proudest that my Alma mater @yrf has bought love back!!! Back to the movies …. Back to our Industry…. Adi I love you and feel so proud to say that I am a YRF student for life! @awidhani what a debut as producer!!! That ball is now officially out of the park! Congratulations!” he added.

Johar also heaped praise on director Mohit Suri, calling ‘Saiyaara’ the best film of his career. He was particularly impressed by Suri’s masterful storytelling and exceptional use of music.

@mohitsuri makes the best film of his career and am blown away by his storytelling , his craft and his magnificent use of music… the music is not just a pillar but a character in this film,” he noted.

Turning his attention to the film’s lead actors, Johar was full of admiration.

He added, “What a debut @ahaanpandayy !!!! You broke my heart and yet energised me as a filmmaker… your eyes spoke volumes and I can’t wait to see your journey ahead…. You are spectacular!!!! Welcome to the movies !!!”

Praising the female lead, he added, “@aneetpadda_ you gorgeous girl… how lovely and amazing are you!!! Your silences spoke volumes and your vulnerability and strength moved me to tears…. Both Ahaan and you were beyond magical!”

Moreover, he congratulated the entire musical and technical team of the film.

Karan Johar’s emotional tribute captures the impact ‘Saiyaara’ has had on both audiences and the film fraternity, celebrating the power of storytelling, debut performances, and the enduring charm of romance on the big screen.

The story of ‘Saiyaara’ follows Krish Kapoor as he navigates the ups and downs of his struggling music career, while Vaani Batra, a young writer, faces the devastating diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
