According to a report from India Today, an election affidavit submitted by the actor-politician indicates her net worth for the fiscal year 2022-23 at ₹1,63,56,190, while Amitabh’s net worth stood at ₹273,74,96,590 for the same period. Nominated by the Samajwadi Party (SP) for the Rajya Sabha, Jaya continues to navigate the realms of politics and entertainment with her significant financial stature.

Jaya Bachchan, who submitted her nomination papers on Tuesday, has been a member of the Samajwadi Party (SP) since 2004. According to the report, the combined movable property of Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan is estimated at ₹849.11 crore, while their immovable property stands at ₹729.77 crore. Furthermore, Jaya’s bank balance is recorded at ₹10,11,33,172, while Amitabh’s stands at ₹120,45,62,083.

Their assets encompass Jaya’s jewelry valued at ₹40.97 crore and a four-wheeler worth ₹9.82 lakh. Amitabh Bachchan possesses jewelry valued at ₹54.77 crore and a collection of 16 vehicles, including two Mercedes and a Range Rover, with a total value of ₹17.66 crore.

The couple’s combined wealth includes property acquired through various means, with Jaya’s income stemming from endorsements, her salary as a Member of Parliament, and professional fees. Amitabh’s earnings comprise interest, rental income, dividends, capital gains, and proceeds generated by a solar plant, as per the report.
