Shah Rukh Khan has surpassed his previous best. The biggest opening for a Hindi-language movie has ever been achieved by his most recent release, Jawan, which beat out Pathaan. Approximately Rs 65 crore of Jawan’s opening day revenue came from the Hindi version, with the remaining Rs 10 crore coming from the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
With this, Jawan has made the most money in a single day for a Hindi movie and is the first Hindi movie to earn more than Rs 60 crore on its opening day. Its Janamashtmi release undoubtedly increased sales, which are only anticipated to soar throughout the weekend. Pathaan earlier this year broke the record for first-day revenue with Rs 57 crore. However, it made Rs 70 crore on day two and ultimately ended its run with Rs 543 crore, setting a record that Gadar 2, which is currently at approximately Rs 510 crore, may soon surpass.
Jawan’s Tamil-language performances had a solid nighttime occupancy of 70%, while IMAX presentations showed an overall occupancy of 61%. The movie was shown on about 10,000 screens around the world.

According to Pinkvilla, Jawan is anticipated to earn at least Rs 45 crore on day one worldwide, which would bring its opening day total to at least Rs 130 crore given that its Indian gross is anticipated to be in the range of Rs 85 crore. With the fourth-biggest opening in Indian film history, after RRR (Rs 223.5 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 214.5 crore), and KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 164.5 crore), Jawan had the best pre-sales of any Hindi film.
