Russia must have broken records of devastation in Ukraine. The soil of Zelensky’s country witnesses Russian cluster bombs intending to bring Syria in Ukraine.
The US invasion of Syria in 2015 and the Russian bombing of Islamic State militants left a trail of devastation that will take a century to heal. But now if we want to see the devastation of Syria from a new angle, then Ukraine is its latest example.
In fact, Russia has dropped cluster bombs on Ukraine to such an extent that its devastation has been worse than that of Syria. The carpet bombing of cluster bombs has left Syria behind in terms of corpses laid in Ukraine.
A recent report by the ‘Cluster Munition Coalition’, a network of non-governmental organizations demanding a ban on cluster bombs, has claimed that Russia has used cluster bombs on Ukraine in large quantities, due to which the year 2022 will be the worst in Ukraine.
There was more devastation while in Syria a total of 15 people died due to cluster bombs while in Ukraine 900 people died and hundreds were injured. Thus during the last decade, Ukraine has become the first country to suffer the most from cluster bombs.
However, in the 21st century, the war between two countries is on the verge of leading to a nuclear war. Putin is now ready to cross any limit to bring Ukraine to its knees.
The way NATO countries are providing help to Ukraine is like adding fuel to the fire. In such a situation, people have now started seeing the war between Russia and Ukraine as the beginning of the Third World War.
