Jacqueline Fernandez’s Mother, Kim Fernandez, Passes Away After Suffering A Stroke

In a tragic update, actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother, Kim Fernandez, passed away on Sunday after suffering a stroke.

The news was confirmed by IANS, after earlier reports that had erroneously claimed her passing were proved to be false.

Health Struggles And Hospitalization

Kim Fernandez, who lived in Manama, Bahrain, had been admitted to the ICU on March 24 after suffering a stroke.

Jacqueline, upon learning of her mother’s condition, immediately rushed home to be by her side.

This health scare was not the first for Kim, who had faced a similar medical issue in 2022.

Jacqueline And Her Family At The Hospital

Following Kim Fernandez’s admission to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, Jacqueline and her father, Elroy Fernandez, visited her.

A video of Jacqueline entering the hospital to check on her mother circulated on social media, showing her in a white salwar kameez with a mask covering her face.

Jacqueline Withdraws From IPL 2025 Performance

Reports suggest that Jacqueline Fernandez was initially scheduled to perform at the IPL 2025 event, specifically at the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Guwahati on March 26.

However, Jacqueline made the decision to withdraw from the performance to be with her mother and family during these trying moments.

As Jacqueline Fernandez and her family cope with this devastating loss, fans and industry colleagues alike continue to offer their condolences and support.
