It’s Official: Varun Tej And Lavanya Tripathi To Get Engaged Tomorrow

Actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, who have been dating for a while, announced on Thursday that they would engage on June 9. Several reports regarding their engagement have appeared during the previous month or two. Varun Tej and Lavanya, however, have not responded to the rumours.

Varun Tej and Lavanya’s engagement confirmed

They collaborated on two Telugu films, Mister and Antariksham 9000KMPH, and are reportedly planning to wed later this year. Niharika Konidela, a niece of famous actor Chiranjeevi, addressed the allegations of her brother Varun Tej’s engagement to Lavanya last month. She did neither confirm or deny the engagement speculations in an interview.

Varun Tej and Lavanya’s engagement was announced on Twitter on Thursday by well-known Telugu publicist team Vamsi-Sekhar. On June 9, 2023, mega prince @IAmVarunTej and @Itslavanya will be married. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness (sic),” read the tweet.

As per reports, the engagement ceremony will take place at Varun Tej’s home with his parents and Lavanya’s parents in attendance. It’ll be a close-knit affair with just family and close friends attending the celebrations.

Varun was recently on a holiday in Italy. He took to Instagram to share several pictures from the trip. Going by Lavanya’s recent Instagram posts, she too was on a holiday. However, it isn’t clear if both Varun and Lavanya were on a holiday together.

Work front of the actors

In terms of his work, Varun Tej just wrapped up filming for his forthcoming Telugu action movie, Gandeevadhari Arjuna. It is said to be a spy thriller that Parveen Sattaru is directing and that was primarily filmed overseas. The movie is almost ready to premiere on August 25. Apparently, two weeks after getting engaged, Varun would start advertising his upcoming film.
