 IMDb’s Most Popular Indian Stars 2022: The year 2022 is coming to an end and it’s time to look back on what made 2022 special. Cinema-wise 2022 broke a lot of barriers along with regional and international borders.

IMDB’s much awaited list of most popular Indian stars in 2022 is out and the results are power-packed, pan-Indian and very exciting.

The list is made on the basis of the consistent high ranking of the stars on the IMDB platform as per its weekly rankings throughout the year in  2022.

Who all made it to the IMDb Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 list, let’s find out

1.Dhanush – The well-deserved top spot went to Dhanush. He had four releases which showcased his acting ability and the many avatars he could take on in the films ‘Maaran’, ‘The Gray Man’, ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ and‘Naane Varuvean’. He received a lot of affection and favourable attention and hence deserves the numero uno position.

2.Alia Bhatt – Much like Dhanush, she too had four movies released in 2022. Films like ‘RRR’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ . Her fourth film ‘darlings’ also saw her as a producer and got her much critical acclaim for her acting skills.

3.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – The lady with the midas touch and picture perfect looks returned to the screen after four years. She played the character of Nandini in  ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ and wowed everyone. She looked like a dream and brought her character to life with a measured performance.

4.Ram Charan Teja – This powerhouse actor is now not just an Indian but a global star . With the stupendous success of ‘RRR’ globally, the actor has etched his name in world cinematic history. The other powerful performance he gave in 2022 was in the film ‘Acharya’.

5.Samantha Ruth Prabhu – Two different genres of films, two different languages, two very different yet amazing performances and one brilliant actor.In 2022 Samantha starred in the Tamil film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’, a dark romantic comedy and the other was the Telugu film ‘Yashoda’ , an action thriller.

6.Hrithik Roshan – 2022 saw Hrithik in the Hindi remake of ‘Vikram Vedha’. The film didn’t see much box office success but Hrithik’s performance is well appreciated by the public as well as the critics.

7.Kiara Advani – It seems Kiara is the next star of Bollywood. Both her films  ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ saw success at the box office in 2022. She is slowly becoming Bollywood’s favourite ‘it girl’.

8.N.T. Rama Rao Jr. – Just one film ‘RRR’ and it’s enough to make it to this list or even as a global star.

9.Allu Arjun – This actor has what you call real star power. His 2021 release

‘Pushpa : The Rise ‘ continues to make him and his star power rise even in 2022.

10.Yash – The character of ‘Rocky Bhai’ from K.G.F.: Chapter 2 has received so much love  from both the people and at the box office that guaranteed him a spot in this popularity list.
