Acclaimed actress Huma Qureshi, renowned for her performances in films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Monica, O My Darling, has officially kicked off the shooting for her latest project, Bayaan.
In this upcoming film, she takes on the role of Roohi Kartar, a determined police officer committed to justice.
On Tuesday, Huma shared an exciting behind-the-scenes moment on her Instagram, showcasing her in corporate attire outside the Interrogation Room.
Holding a clapperboard marked with scene number 21 and shot number 3, she donned sunglasses, exuding a cool confidence as she began her first day on set.
In her post, Huma captioned the photo, “Roohi Kartar reporting on duty!! #Bayaan @shiladityabora @bikasmishra Day 1 #cop #honour #justice,” setting the tone for what promises to be a compelling narrative.
Reflecting on her experience, Huma expressed her enthusiasm to IANS, stating, “Starting the shoot for ‘Bayaan’ is exhilarating. There’s a special thrill in witnessing our vision come to life. The energy on set is infectious, and the dedication from the entire team is genuinely motivating. I was captivated by the strong script, which is why I chose this project.”
Meanwhile, she elaborated, “Bayaan tells a resonant story, and I’m eager to explore its complex themes. This journey is likely to be both challenging and incredibly fulfilling, and I look forward to sharing the magic we’re creating with audiences.”
In addition to Bayaan, Huma however recently completed filming for Jolly LLB 3, which features a stellar cast, including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla.
