Notably, Barbie has surpassed $1 billion in box office revenue worldwide. $526.3 million at the US box office and $657.6 million internationally have been grossed by the film. As long as the movie does well, the earnings should rise even more.

Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” competed at the box office, although “Oppenheimer” won in terms of worldwide revenue. Additionally, the film broke other records. Greta Gerwig, who directed the live-action film Barbie, broke a record for the highest-grossing female director of all time. In terms of box office revenue, Barbie is second only to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 from 2011 in Warner Bros.
