With “Barbie” becoming a huge smash, Margot Robbie is enjoying a period of triumph. It’s interesting to note that Margot and Tom Ackerley are some of the movie’s producers. In an agreement that includes her salary and back-end box office bonuses, Margot is reportedly expecting to make a whooping $50 million in Barbie movie earning. Notably, Barbie has surpassed $1 billion in box office revenue worldwide. $526.3 million at the US box office and $657.6 million internationally have been grossed by the film. As long as the movie does well, the earnings should rise even more.

Barbie Vs Oppenheimer

Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” competed at the box office, although “Oppenheimer” won in terms of worldwide revenue. Additionally, the film broke other records. Greta Gerwig, who directed the live-action film Barbie, broke a record for the highest-grossing female director of all time. In terms of box office revenue, Barbie is second only to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 from 2011 in Warner Bros.

It’s interesting to note that director Margot wanted actress Gal Gadot to play Barbie in the primary role. Margot was persuaded to take on the job herself by Gerwig.

On July 21, 2023, Barbie and Oppenheimer were both released in India and the US. Fans combined the names of the two movies and created the “Barbenheimer” craze, which ultimately contributed to the huge success of both movies.
