From ‘12th Fail’ To Spiritual Icon: Vikrant Massey Steps Into Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s World

National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey is preparing to portray spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the forthcoming drama ‘White’.

The actor recently met the spiritual guru during a satsang and greeted him warmly before speaking emotionally about the life-changing opportunity.

A visibly moved Vikrant addressed the gathering and expressed profound gratitude for portraying someone he considers his mentor and guiding force. He said the role carried immense emotional value because Sri Sri Ravi Shankar represented his Gurudev, his home, his guide, and his everything.

The actor described the experience as deeply meaningful and spiritually enriching.

‘White’ is being directed by Montoo Bassi. Siddharth Anand is backing the project under the banner of Marflix Pictures alongside Mahaveer Jain Films and Peacecraft Pictures.

As part of his preparation, Vikrant met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in October 2024 and has since made frequent visits to the Art of Living Foundation Ashram in Bengaluru.

To understand the spiritual leader’s philosophy and personality, Vikrant also participated in the Happiness Programme conducted by the organisation.

The ’12th Fail’ actor additionally underwent a physical transformation for the role. He adopted longer hair and modified his appearance to closely resemble the spiritual guru.

Reports suggest that principal photography for ‘White’ is currently underway in Colombia.

Apart from this ambitious project, Vikrant will also feature in ‘Talaakhon Mein Ek’, directed by Bodhayan Roychaudhury, alongside Raashii Khanna. His upcoming slate further includes ‘Yaar Jigri’.
