Following Four Years Of Marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Separated

Joe Jonas, an American singer, and Sophie Turner, an actress, have ended their four years of marriage.

Joe Jonas, 34, filed for divorce with the ‘Game of Thrones’ star at Miami-Dade County Court in Florida.

Jonas noted in the filing that the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken. They signed a prenuptial agreement.

Jonas and Turner, 27, married in 2019 after dating for over three years. Willa, the couple’s first child, was born in 2020, and another daughter was born in 2022. Their second child’s name has not been revealed.

According to the divorce papers, Jonas is seeking joint custody of the daughters.

“It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility”, the divorce papers read.

“A parenting plan should be established, which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties”, the documents added.

Jonas and his brothers, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, released their sixth studio album as Jonas Brothers in May this year. The band recently began a tour that includes more than 90 gigs in 20 countries.

Turner is best recognized for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO’s critically acclaimed series Game of Thrones. She was born in Northampton, England. She has played Jean Grey in two X-Men films, Apocalypse (2016) and Dark Phoenix (2019).
