‘Fighter’ Starring Hrithik Roshan Records Rs 41.20 Crore Box Office Collection on Second Day

In a resounding success at the box office, Hrithik Roshan’s latest Bollywood venture, “Fighter,” directed by Siddharth Anand, has witnessed a remarkable surge, accumulating a staggering Rs 41.20 crore on its second day of release. The film, which pays homage to the bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian armed forces, had initially earned Rs 24.60 crore on its opening day, showcasing an impressive upward trajectory.

An official statement from the film’s makers emphasized the exceptional momentum the movie experienced, resulting in a cumulative collection of Rs 65.80 crores by the end of day two. The movie, presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, features a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and Sanjeeda Sheikh.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for his directorial successes with “Pathaan” and “War,” “Fighter” unfolds the narrative of a newly commissioned elite unit known as Air Dragons. Tasked with responding to militant activities in the Srinagar Valley, this squad is now the first line of defense against hostile threats. Comprising the best combat aviators carefully selected from the Indian Air Force, the movie delves into the story of the Air Dragons, portraying their unwavering commitment to the nation amid the highs and lows of both internal and external battles.

The film’s official synopsis outlines the central theme, describing the Air Dragons as a unit prepared to give their all for the nation. Their dedication unfolds against the backdrop of heightened tensions in the Srinagar Valley, and “Fighter” intricately weaves a narrative that explores the challenges faced by these elite aviators in their pursuit of safeguarding the country.
