Farhan Akhtar Revisits Iconic ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ Location After 23 Years, Stirred by Nostalgia, Check Out His Post!

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar experienced nostalgia while touring the Goa location of his first feature film, Dil Chahta Hai. On Saturday, Farhan shared a photo of himself posing at the Chapora Fort on Instagram.

Farhan also told his supporters that he was visiting the place for the first time in more than 20 years. In the picture, Farhan and filmmaker Shujaat Saudagar were sitting on the wall at dusk. Farhan grinned at Shujaat, who was leaning on a wall, with his back to the water. Farhan was dressed in jeans, a jacket, sneakers, and a grey T-shirt. Shujaat had on casual attire.

Farhan writes a note

“First time back at Chapora Fort since we filmed Akash, Sid, and Sameer talking about life,” Farhan wrote as the post’s caption. That was twenty-three years ago. The Goan air is still warm and pungent with sea salt, even if a lot has changed. Certain locations possess a certain enchantment. (black heart emoji).

One fan commented on the post saying, “Bro wrote one story at the age of 24.” Sufficient to be recalled by future generations.” Someone else said, “The only takeaway from this is that Dil Chahta Hai came out 23 years ago and I’m not okay with that reality.”

Concerning Dil Chahta Hai

Farhan wrote and directed the comedy-drama film Dil Chahta Hai, which was released in 2001. Ritesh Sidhwani produced it, while Excel Entertainment handled its distribution. Three pals who are recent college graduates are the subject of the movie. Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia are among the film’s stars.

The movie has become a cult favorite. It reinterpreted what relationships, love, and friendship meant. It was a movie about growing up. Dil Chahta Hai received praise for its powerful soundtrack, acting, and plot. For Best Feature Film in Hindi, it took home the National Film Award.

Future Motion Pictures of Farhan

With the road trip flick Jee Le Zara, which stars Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, Farhan will return to the director’s chair after nearly 11 years. He revealed the 2021 movie. The movie looks to be another story about friendship in the vein of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Chahta Hai. In addition, he is directing Don 3, which stars Ranveer Singh.
