Dream Girl 2, the hilarious drama that starred in theaters in August, has now debuted on over-the-top platforms. Functioning as a spiritual follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster Dream Girl, the movie had already delighted theatergoers with its superb humor and outstanding acting, which led to great financial success. The film’s major actors, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, have expressed their enthusiasm over its OTT release, giving viewers yet another way to enjoy its humorous appeal and entertainment value.
The on-screen duo of Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, are thrilled that the film has finally made its OTT debut today, October 20. Ayushmann expressed his excitement for the movie’s digital release after its box office triumph, saying he’s looking forward to people who missed it in theaters now being able to watch it on the streaming service.
‘Out-and-out masala entertainment,’ as he puts it, is what makes the movie special, so many people will enjoy seeing it in one sitting. “I hope it receives the same love worldwide,” Ayushmann continued. “It’s an entertaining film with great characters and a solid humor track.”
Ananya expressed her excitement about the film’s streaming availability and said it was a dream come true to see her work appreciated by people in 190 different countries. “I am excited to see how the worldwide audience responds to the film and the entertaining world we created,” she said, expressing her excitement.

Under the umbrella of Balaji Telefilms, the film was produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R. Kapoor and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. It was released in theaters on August 25. The film explores the story of Ayushmann’s character, Karam, who finds himself in a whirlwind of chaos when he cross-dresses as a woman named Pooja. Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, and more make up the ensemble supporting cast. Netflix is currently offering the movie for streaming.
