Deepika Padukone’s Pregnancy Post About Daughter Dua Wins Hearts

Deepika Padukone gave fans another glimpse into her pregnancy journey by sharing a light-hearted post on her Instagram Stories.

The actor, who is expecting her second child with husband Ranveer Singh, reposted a humorous video highlighting a common pregnancy dilemma.

The clip showed a pregnant woman carrying her toddler despite medical advice not to lift anything weighing more than 20 pounds. It was captioned, “Don’t lift anything over 20 pounds while pregnant. Me this entire pregnancy.”

Deepika added a Spider-Man sticker to the post, prompting fans to speculate that it was a playful reference to her daughter Dua, who will soon turn two.

This is not the first time Deepika has shared relatable pregnancy content.

Earlier, Deepika posted a humorous reel about frequent late-night bathroom trips during pregnancy, drawing reactions from mothers and parents who related to the experience.

Deepika and Ranveer announced in April that they are expecting their second child. They shared the news through a heartwarming social media post featuring Dua holding a positive pregnancy test kit.

The couple married in November 2018 in an intimate ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, after dating for several years. They welcomed their first child, Dua, in 2024.

On the professional front, Deepika will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s King. She also stars in Atlee’s Raaka alongside Allu Arjun, marking her first collaboration with the Telugu superstar.
