Creating History Kate Winslet Breaks Tom Cruise Record

Hollywood star Kate Winslet creates history. She has lately broken Tom Cruise’s record of doing deadly stunts with Avatar.

Kate Winslet has now finally beaten Tom Cruise’s breath-holding record underwater in the latest flick -Avatar 2. This is what she was aiming for and now this certainly is a proud moment for her.

Since Titanic, Kate Winslet has been ruling over her fans hearts with her glamour, beauty as well as versatile acting skills. Various prestigious projects, including the Eternal Sunhine, Divergent series, Sunshine of the Spotless Minds, along with many more or on her name. Lastly Kate had received a lot of critical appreciation being seen in the series Mare of Easttown.

Now Kate has reunited with James Cameron, her Titanic director for Avatar: The Way of Water. Now each day she has been challenging herself with many daredevil acts required for the movie.

New reports say, Kate has now created history while successfully breaking Tom Cruise’s record. And this transpired while filming for Avatar 2.  To get the scoop, keep scrolling below.

It was real too difficult for a delicate actress like her. For a scene in Avatar: The Way of Water, Kate Winslet managed to hold her breath underwater for around seven minutes, thus breaking Tom Cruise‘s record. Tom Cruise had made this record during the shoot of Mission: Impossible.

“It was truly brilliant and I really am very proud of myself and I know I  probably will never be able to do it again,” says the actress joyfully in a media conversation.

She had gone through a very rigorous training. Sharing further how tough it was, She says – ‘I had to do it..and I did it!’ She says, she is ready to do justice to her role and for that she is prepared to go to all extremes.

In accordance with the proud actress, it took four weeks with the quite intense training in the dive tank, and then finally she did it, She says – ‘I loved the thrill!’

An American media reports reveal about her experience saying, “Once you get down there, you have to do a certain sequence of signals for letting others know that they are okay. There is a lot of technical jargon, that you have to undergo prior to your final performance, and truly it is quite strange. Everything takes place much slower in the water, your body also does not always move as quickly as you want it too. Especially when you are going through a battle sequence.”
