Bickering Over Indo-US Amity Should Not Be Prime Concern For China

The Corona country overtly appears to be worried about the triangular bickering. The petty arguments over trivial issues are unnecessary Chinese concerns in today’s geo-political arena.

The bickering that is going on between India, China and America these days is strange. It has manifold meaning hidden within. An statement by the spokesperson of the Chinese government, says that the ‘exercise’ of the US and the Indian Army on the India-China border in Uttarakhand is totally inappropriate and is in gross violation of the 1993 and 1996 India-China agreements.

On the other hand the ground reality is different. In May 2020, China had violated the said agreements by sending its troops to the Galvan area. In fact, this Indo-US exercise is not an anti-China tactic. Both nations have done many such maneuvers at different venues. This is not even a ploy to threaten China.

In fact, this is transpiring in order to be prepared to face calamities like sudden earthquakes, floods, breaking of mountains, bursting of land in the Himalayan regions. How to set up hospitals immediately, how to make helipads, how to build bridges and roads rapidly, and how to save the lives of the injured – these two armies have been rehearsing all these things to help people suffering from natural calamities together.

All these activities can be seen in India’s border, about 100 miles away from Chinese border, but the reason for Chinese irritation is India’s better relations with America in recent times and Chinese relations have gone ever bitter with America these days. This fact is also proved by the statement of the Chinese spokesperson that America’s effort is to spoil the relations between India and China. China does not want its relations with its neighbor India to deteriorate.

If so, then the Chinese leaders should be asked why China keeps its warships deputed in the Indian Ocean region? Why is it trying to establish its strategic supremacy in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar and Nepal as well?

Pakistan keeps blaming India only on the basis of Chinese help. What is the reason of the escalated military budget every year? Last year in 2021 China’s military budget was 209 billion dollars, which was more than the combined budgets of India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

On the one hand, China claims that it wants to improve its relations with India, but simultaneously it keeps dragging its anti-American attitude in between the bilateral relationship. India’s policy is that it remains neutral in the disputes between America and China and America and Russia.

India neither supports anti-China nor does he support anti-Russian statements. Its mutual relations with the US are purely on their own conditions and principals. Thus China should get dispensed with all its tension over Indo-American relationship.
