Celebrating 20 Years of ‘LOC Kargil’: Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, and Esha Deol Take a Nostalgic Journey with Throwback Pics

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of its 2003 release, the acclaimed film “LOC Kargil,” which depicted the Kargil War between India and Pakistan, has left a lasting impact on its cast and crew. Directed by J.P. Dutta, the movie featured an impressive ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty, Esha Deol, Rani Mukerji, Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Sanjay Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Raveena Tandon, Ashutosh Rana, Mahima Chaudhry, and Divya Dutta, among others.

On this momentous occasion, actors Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, and Esha Deol took to their Instagram handles to share heartfelt notes and reminisce about their experiences during the film’s shoot.

Ajay Devgn, posting a series of pictures from the shoot, expressed gratitude for the memories and friendships forged during the making of the film. He acknowledged the significance of the scars as reminders of the battles fought, captioning his post, “#20YearsOFLOC. Kargil, thank you for the scars that serve as a reminder of the battles fought. I am grateful for the journey, the memories, and the friends I made along the way.”

Abhishek Bachchan, in a multi-picture post from the shoot diaries, reflected on the passage of time and the honour of being part of a film that pays tribute to the true heroes in the Indian armed forces. He thanked director J.P. Dutta for the opportunity, saying, “Time flies! I cannot believe it’s been 20 years since the release of L.O.C. I have such great memories of making the film with so many friends. But it is an even greater honour to be able to tell the stories of our true heroes in the Indian armed forces. Thank you, JP Sahab, for choosing me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of the film.”

Esha Deol, marking the occasion with a multi-picture post, expressed her gratitude to J.P. Dutta for entrusting her with the emotional role of Dimple, describing it as one of her most memorable experiences as an actor. She thanked her co-star, Abhishek Bachchan, and congratulated the entire cast and team. She wrote, “#20yearsoflockargil.
