Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have joyfully announced the birth of their baby girl. The news was confirmed earlier today, marking a new chapter in the couple’s lives.
On Saturday, Deepika Padukone was seen at HN Reliance Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai, where she gave birth. The couple had strategically timed the delivery to coincide with Ganeshotsav, which began on the same day, making it an auspicious occasion for their family.
The couple had celebrated the forthcoming arrival of their baby with a visit to Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Friday. Deepika, dressed in a teal Benarasi saree, and Ranveer, in a beige kurta set, attended the temple with their families, setting a spiritual tone for the arrival of their daughter.

Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February 2024, sharing the news with a social media post featuring cute baby-themed motifs and the caption “September 2024”. At that time, reports indicated that Deepika was in her second trimester.
In response to online speculation and criticism about her pregnancy, Deepika recently shared a stunning maternity shoot on Instagram, putting an end to the rumors and showcasing her journey with grace.
The couple, who tied the knot in a private ceremony at Lake Como in November 2018, delighted fans with glimpses of their wedding through Instagram and a special video on “Koffee With Karan” five years later.
On the professional front, Deepika and Ranveer are set to star together in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film “Singham Again.” Deepika will make her debut in Shetty’s cop universe, while Ranveer will appear in a cameo role as Simmba.
