Bill Gates To Feature In ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ Episode; Greets Tulsi With ‘Jai Shri Krishna’

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is set to make a special appearance in an upcoming episode of the popular television drama Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

After days of speculation, a new promo has confirmed his cameo, showing him exchanging greetings with actress Smriti Irani, who reprises her iconic role as Tulsi.

The recently released clip shared on Instagram features Tulsi connecting with Gates through a video call.

In the scene, she greets him with ‘Jai Shri Krishna’, to which Gates warmly responds, ‘Namaste Tulsi ji, Jai Shri Krishna’.

Tulsi then expresses her excitement about the virtual meeting, saying, “Bahut acha laga yeh jaanke ki aap seedh America se seedh mere parivaar se jud rahe hai. Aap ka hum sab besabhri se inteezaar kar rahe hai (It feels wonderful to know that you are connecting directly with my family all the way from America. We are all eagerly waiting for you).”

Gates replies with a simple, “Thank you, Tulsi ji.”

The post accompanying the promo reads, “Iss baar #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi ki kahaani ke beech, ek naya rishta jud raha hai — sehat ka, samvedna ka, aur badlaav ka. Aur iss kahani mein jude hain duniya ke sabse bade changemaker — Bill Gates, ek soch ke saath: har maa aur har bachcha rahe surakshit aur swasth.”

The caption further continues, “Do alag duniyaan, ek hi maqsad ke saath — maa aur bachche ki sehat, har ghar tak pahunchani hai. Mr Bill Gates aur humari Tulsi ke iss vishay par vichaar jaanne ke liye dekhiye, #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi, aaj raat 10:30 baje, sirf #StarPlus aur #Hotstar par.”

This will mark Bill Gates’ second-ever television cameo, following his appearance on the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

A Nostalgic Twist to the Storyline

Earlier this week, the show’s teaser hinted at a major surprise, showing Tulsi on a video call with an unidentified guest, later revealed to be Gates.

The series also recently featured a nostalgic crossover between Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi characters Tulsi and Mihir and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’s Om and Parvati.

The ongoing storyline centres on Tulsi’s efforts to guide her daughter, Pari, whose modern outlook often clashes with Tulsi’s traditional values, creating a complex emotional dynamic within the family.
