Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana-Starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi Set To Re-Release On Big Screen

The trend of re-releasing movies has gained significant momentum in recent years, as studios bring back beloved classics and blockbusters to the big screen. Amid this trend, the makers of Bareilly Ki Barfi have also decided to treat the audience with a dose of nostalgia.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directional, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, and Rajkummar Rao is all set to return to the big screen. The movie will hit the theatres on February 7.

Bareilly Ki Barfi To Re-Release On Big Screen

The makers took their social media handle and shared the re-release date of the romance drama. “This Valentine’s, celebrate love and friendship and fill mithaas in your life with our barfis! #BareillyKiBarfi re-releasing in cinemas on 7th Feb”, the makers posted on Instagram with a poster image of the movie.

This romantic movie based on friendship was originally released in 2017. The news of the re-release has left fans excited. One of the fans commented, “After watching it 10k times, including in the theatre, I will watch it again.” Another fan commented, “One of the best from Indian cinema.”

The romance drama completed its seven years last year. Ashwini Iyer Tiwari took her Instagram to share the throwback pictures from the making of the film. She wrote in the caption, “Gratitude for the love And specially to you Amma, the cinema lover. I made Bareilly ki Barfi when the kids were 5 years old. But with your insane confidence in me and telling me that there is no reason to feel guilty to follow your dream.

“‘I am there’ Your words gave me the wings to follow the unknown path. Now when I look back there are so many anecdotes that I will savour always. I hope I continue to tell stories from the heart and make you proud”, the caption further read.
