Bandar Release Date Announced: Bobby Deol Starrer To Hit Theatres On June 5, 2026

The producers of Bandar, starring Bobby Deol, have announced that the film will premiere in theatres across the globe on June 5, 2026. The confirmation has heightened interest in the project among cinema enthusiasts.

In addition to Bobby Deol, the film features a strong supporting cast including Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Jitendra Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Riddhi Sen, Saba Azad and Nagesh Bhosle in key roles.

Director Anurag Kashyap leads the project, working alongside writers Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee to shape the narrative.

Anurag Kashyap is also widely regarded for introducing bold, realistic storytelling to mainstream Hindi cinema. His work often departs from conventional formats, focusing on layered characters and grounded narratives.

Kashyap rose to prominence with Black Friday, a critically acclaimed depiction of the 1993 Mumbai blasts. He later delivered DevD, known for its experimental style, followed by Gangs of Wasseypur, which earned cult status for its raw and gritty storytelling.

Bobby Deol takes on the central role in Bandar, continuing his recent run of impactful performances. His casting has added to the anticipation surrounding the film.

Producer Nikhil Dwivedi is backing the project in collaboration with Zee Studios. Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee have developed the screenplay for the film. They have previously worked on projects such as Paatal Lok, Kohrra and Udta Punjab.

With an experienced team and a compelling cast in place, Bandar is expected to draw significant attention upon release.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 5, 2026, positioning itself as a major cinematic offering for the year.
