Recently, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor agreed to sponsor a young girl’s athletic ambitions. If reports are to be believed, the actor has promised to pay for the entire equipment set of a promising girl cricketer who is 11 years old until she turns 18. He will provide her with the best cricket gear an aspiring cricketer could possibly require.
Cricket is a religion in India; thousands of children have aspirations of becoming professional cricketers. Many young Indian girls have been greatly inspired to pursue sports careers as a result of the public recognition and golden run enjoyed by many Indian women cricketers in recent years. Additionally, many are displaying promising performances.
Anisha Rout, a promising cricket player who is just 11 years old, is one example. For eight hours of cricket training seven times per week, she must travel 80 kilometres daily. She wants to become a professional player like her hero, Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Prabhat, Anisha’s father, is a supervisor at a company. He is doing everything in his power to be the breeze beneath her wings.
Saying thanks to Kapoor, he shared, “As guardians, we need the best for our youngster, but preparing to become an elite cricketer is costly. Anisha wants to become an India captain like Sachin Tendulkar and bring glory to our nation.
As her father, I need to give her the tools she needs to try and become an example for future generations of people like her. Arjun Kapoor’s assistance is a lifesaver.
“I can’t thank him enough,” Prabhat continued. “It takes a lot of load off my shoulders.” Anisha should get the best hardware as a cricketer, and presently, she will have everything till she turns 18!”
