Arbaaz Khan And Bhumika Chawla Starrer ‘Kesar Singh’ Set For July Theatrical Release

The upcoming film Kesar Singh, starring Arbaaz Khan and Bhumika Chawla, is expected to arrive in theatres in July this year. While the makers have confirmed the month of release, the exact date is likely to be officially announced soon.

The film is backed by producers Parimal Shah and Vinit Shah under the banner of Equator Entertainments and has been directed by Jasbeer. Set in small-town India, “Kesar Singh” follows the journey of a woman who transforms a life-altering setback into a story of courage, resilience and renewal.

The technical crew also includes two-time National Award-winning lyricist Swanand Kirkire, who has written the songs for the film.

The movie was shot across culturally rich locations in Uttar Pradesh and Wai, Maharashtra. Filming has already been completed and the project is currently in the post-production stage.

Supporting Cast And On-Set Experience

Apart from the lead actors, Deepshikha Nagpal will also be seen in a significant role in the drama. Earlier, sharing her experience of working on the film, Deepshikha described Bhumika as an “absolute sweetheart”.

“It was truly lovely working with both Bhumika and Arbaaz. This was my first film with Bhumika, and she is an absolute sweetheart, incredibly warm, grounded, and simple despite having such a remarkable body of work,” she said.

Talking about working again with Arbaaz, she added, “With Arbaaz, I’ve worked earlier as well, although unfortunately those films didn’t release. So there was already a sense of familiarity and comfort. He is extremely cooperative, professional, and has absolutely no airs.”

Deepshikha also recalled a moment during the shoot that left a lasting impression on her, revealing that when she informed Arbaaz about a possible delay due to scheduling confusion, he supported her.

Arbaaz reportedly said he knew she was always punctual and believed there must be a genuine reason.
