The Indian men’s 4400 relay team has been praised for setting a record by being the first team to qualify for the World Athletics Championship final. As they finished behind the USA, they earned second place. Amitabh Bachchan commended the Indian men’s 4400 relay team for their outstanding effort following the historic victory. Big B recently praised the squad while criticizing the analysts for failing to recognize India’s amazing achievement.
Amitabh Bachchan congratulated the Indian men’s 4×400 relay team on their historic qualification for the World Athletics Championship final on August 27 through Twitter. The superstar, however, also chastised the analysts for failing to highlight India’s achievements.
In a tweet, Big B wrote, “And India.. JAI HIND..!!!! Congratulations from the entire world, and from what I can tell from the commentary, there isn’t a word for the Indian team; instead, it’s all about the third and fourth places, even though we qualified by placing a very, very close second.
Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal Variyathodi, and Rajesh Ramesh were on the Indian men’s 4×400 relay team. In the semi-finals, the Indian team achieved this feat by creating a new Asian record with a timing of 2.59.05 seconds. They broke the mark set previously by a Japanese team.
Amitabh Bachchan is now preoccupied with Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 filming. The pan-Indian film Project K, also known as Kalki 2898 AD, is expected to feature the 80-year-old performer on a large screen. Nag Ashwin is the director of the movie. Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas are also included in the film.
